James Tsinidis Joins Munro Partners

New Munro Partners Appointment Announcement – James Tsinidis.

November 2016

Munro Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of James Tsinidis in the role of Senior Investment Analyst.

James will work closely with Nick Griffin, Chief Investment Officer, and Kieran Moore, Senior Investment Analyst, in the management of the Munro Global Growth Fund, which was launched on 1 August 2016 and now has over $35m in funds under management.

As Munro Partners continues to develop and broaden its investment capabilities and experience, James is an integral appointment. James will be responsible for stock research, portfolio analytics and trading processes at Munro Partners.

James was previously a Portfolio Manager at K2 Asset Management, based in both Melbourne and Edinburgh and was entirely focused on the US, European and Asian stock markets. Having worked closely with Nick Griffin at K2, James utilised the same global growth investment process that is employed at Munro. With over 12 years of financial services experience, more recently as a portfolio manager / senior investment analyst, James holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from La Trobe University and a Postgraduate Certificate of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.

“Having worked with Nick and Kieran previously, understanding the Munro investment process and watching the progress of Munro Partners, it was an easy decision to join” James said on his appointment.

Munro Partners’ Chief Executive Officer, Ronald Calvert, stated that “James’ appointment is about preparing for our next phase of growth and continues our client alignment of Munro Partners being invested in the business and the Munro Global Growth Fund. James’ experience in working with Nick and Kieran at K2 and understanding our investment process, as well as his proven track record will enhance the investment team from which to deliver strong investment returns to our clients”.

James will be based in our head office at 80 Collins Street, Melbourne and joins Nick Griffin, Ronald Calvert, Jonathan Spensley and Kieran Moore as part of the Munro Partners team.
