Kieran Moore Joins Munro Partners

New Munro Partners Appointment Announcement – Kieran Moore.

July 2016

Munro Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Kieran Moore in the newly created role as Senior Investment Analyst.

Kieran will work closely with Nick Griffin, Chief Investment Officer, in the management of the Munro Global Growth Fund, to be launched on 1 August 2016.

Munro Partners sees Kieran as an important appointment as it develops its capabilities and experience in providing its clients with a growth orientated, international equities portfolio. Kieran will be responsible for stock research, portfolio analytics and trading processes at Munro Partners.

Kieran was previously employed at K2 Asset Management, where Kieran performed a similar role as an international equities analyst, primarily focusing on global growth equities and undertaking similar functions regarding research, modelling, portfolio analysis and trading. Kieran holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, with majors in Finance and Economics, and also a Juris Doctor Law Degree from the University of Melbourne.

“I am very pleased to be joining Munro Partners at this exciting period of the business’ development. I was attracted to the partnership structure, the investment process and the operations support that has been established so early in its development” Kieran noted.

Munro Partners’ Chief Executive Officer, Ronald Calvert, noted that “Kieran’s appointment is important for us to secure the future success of the business and he provides an excellent cultural and strategic fit. Kieran’s experience in working with Nick at K2 and understanding Munro’s investment process, as well as having a proven track record in stock research, portfolio analytics and trading processes, will enhance the investment team and furthers Munro Partners ability to provide a solid foundation from which to deliver strong investment returns to our clients”.

Kieran will head to the United Kingdom initially with Nick Griffin to further build his understanding of the Munro investment process and its networks. He will return to Australia in early October and be based in our Melbourne office.
